Welfare Reform Public Consultation

From September to December 2008, Stimulation Ltd worked with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver public opinion to shape Welfare Reform.

The Green Paper proposals 'No one written off: reforming welfare to reward responsibility' proposed 28 questions that DWP wanted the public and organisation supporting members of the public to respond to to help shape new initiatives.

Stimulation designed and delivered a series national events with keynote speakers and interactive workshops; small focused meetings with CEOs of organisations representing employers and seperately mental health; as well as briefing  and advising DWP's ministerial team and attending all key stakeholder meeting with ministers.

Stimulation helped the department evaluate all the findings and feed back to shape the White Paper: Raising expectations and increasing support which sets out in detail the plan for future of the personalised welfare state.
